Karaoke Performances to Help Find a Cure
" Dr. Peggy’s Karaoke for the Cure" was founded by a 23 year three time breast cancer survivor. Her organization's aim is to support breast cancer patients and survivors by donating items to help improve the quality of their lives through acts of kindness. Our goal is to provide our form of a "Cure" to the impact of hair loss due to breast cancer through giving and love. Through the use of Karaoke perfomance event donations wigs, scarfs and skincare chemo bundles are donated to breast cancer patients and survivors.
Our aim is to uplift the spirit, in many cases the self confidence of women who have suffered hair loss due to chemotherapy or other treatments for breast cancer. With your support, we will increase awareness of breast cancer in our communities, receive donations as well as, gain support by holding karaoke performances and 5K walks in various cities across the United States. Currently, we have made donations to patients and survivors through Northwest Cancer Treatment Centers of Northwest Indiana. We have also doanted items to patients through Here's for the Girls, Inc and Sentara Hospital of Williamsburg, Va. We have great sponsors. NorthShore Health Centers and Portage Day Care Center in Portage, IN are our spnsors in IN. We are sponsored by Sky4 Television and Pappa Johns Pizza in Hampton, VA.
